This is going to be fun!
The program is planned with the idea that you can see everything and disappear into the festival with us. As always, it is packed with new and well-known artists, current discourse, colleagues from all over the world, you, our dear audience, and a team that expands during the festival. We work with the best people both on and behind the scenes.
This year, the mind of the festival is Hordaland Kunstsenter. From there, the nerve fibers extend to Studio Bergen, Studio USF, Sardinen, Bergen Kunsthall and Bergen Kjøtt. The heart is the commemoration and celebration of Sven Åge on Saturday 22 October. This year’s festival stands out. It marks an end and a new beginning.
With Prøverommet, an artistic and professional programme, seminars, artist meetings, workshops, conversations and pure festivities; more than 60 events are planned for these 10 days.
Some of these are treasure chests in themselves, full of more gems. This year's Oktoberdans will shine and sparkle like a diamond when all of this comes together.
