More about the artists and organisers
Aimless Gallery is a slow fashion brand making made-to-measure custom colourful// queer // political latex lewks. Starting as a passion project by Amy (they/them) it's focus has been to raise funds for Mermaids (a charity for Trans youth) As its grown AG continues to raise money and awareness to help with gender-affirming care for gender queer people. Focusing on inclusivity and individualism is extremely important to AG as no one person is the same size or has the same style or feeling behind the way they dress, meaning all latex is made to measure and extremely customisable; focusing on slogans and bright colours and making pieces that represent their owner!
In this two day workshop you will learn the basics of latex making with Amy, teaching you the skills needed to make a latex T-shirt from start to finish, customised with slogans/ images/ whatever the heart desires! This workshop will cover: a Brief History of Latex and where is Originates from, Cutting Latex, Glueing Seams Straight or Curves, Hemming Latex and Appliqué. aimlessgallery.com
